Christian Arts Festival in Cheltenham

Behind the scenes of the Christian Arts Festival in Cheltenham 22 April – 7 May, 2017 (Children/Youth workshops 18 – 22 April) is the Cheltenham Christian Arts Trust.

Our AIM is to provide an opportunity for the town’s churches to come together in celebration of our artistic Christian heritage through all the contemporary and traditional arts and share the vibrancy, the joy and the colour of this God-given creative expression with the local community in Gloucestershire.

CHELTENHAM CHRISTIAN ARTS is a Trust with Registered Charity status (1164117). Our desire is not only to offer a wide range of Christian faith-inspired arts projects annually at the Festival, but ALSO to provide a platform for churches to inform the community about events through a website and the media, promoting interaction within our local faith community on a long-term basis.

To date we have received FUNDING from the Cheltenham Borough Council Community Pride Fund, The Notgrove Trust, a private Patron and the Sylvanus Lysons Trust. These awards have enabled Christian Arts to present several Festival events free of charge.
