Opening the Discourse
Our two-day Charlotte Symposium explores the various ways in which art can meaningfully engage our communities. To start the conversation, guest artist Steve Prince will present his artwork and the wide range of community outreach projects that he has completed in various cities throughout the United States. This event will also include a panel discussion featuring community arts leaders and culture makers in the Charlotte community at Saturday afternoon workshops on a variety of topics including the theology of art, artist residencies, and how to start and maintain a church gallery.
